Hello, I'm Wendy

I’ve been a licensed daycare provider for 18 years and have had the honor of caring for children from 2 months all the way up to Kindergarten. Many of the families I’ve worked with have stayed for years, and I treat every child as if they were my own. We’re a family here at Wendy's Daycare in Murrieta—and I’d love for you to be part of it.

What Makes Us Special at Wendy's Daycare in Murrieta

Introduction to Animals and Nature:

We have chickens and bunnies and integrate learning with fun interaction with our very own chickens and bunnies as well as other animals and butterflies. Children are naturally curious about the world around them, and there’s no better way to spark that curiosity than through hands-on experiences with animals. At Wendy’s Daycare in Murrieta, our chickens and bunnies aren’t just adorable—they’re part of the learning experience. Kids learn to care for living creatures, observe nature, and develop empathy and responsibility in a safe and supervised environment. We also explore life cycles, like butterflies, to make learning magical and memorable.

Recently Remodeled and Extremely Clean:
Your child’s health and safety are my top priority, and that starts with cleanliness. Wendy's Daycare in Murrieta was recently remodeled to create an even more inviting and hygienic space for little learners. From the playroom to the bathroom, everything is maintained with great care so children can enjoy a clean, organized, and cheerful place to explore and grow. We even have labels on washing hands in bathroom to promote good habits early by making things easy for children to understand. Labels on handwashing areas serve as gentle reminders that build independence and hygiene awareness. Kids learn the importance of washing their hands, when to do it, and how to do it properly—all critical habits that stay with them long after they leave daycare.

Healthy Meals and Snacks Included:

Proper nutrition is essential for growing bodies and busy brains. Wendy's Daycare in Murrieta provides healthy meals and snacks that are not only balanced and nourishing, but also kid-friendly and satisfying. You can rest easy knowing your child is enjoying wholesome food while building healthy eating habits that support their development.

Potty Training Available:
Potty training is a big milestone, and every child reaches it at their own pace. I work closely with parents to create a consistent and positive potty training experience that supports your child’s confidence. With patience, encouragement, and routine, we make this transition smoother and more successful for everyone involved.

Learning Activities:
Creative expression and structured learning go hand in hand at Wendy’s Daycare in Murrieta. From arts and crafts to music, worksheets, and listening exercises, each activity is tailored to your child’s age and stage of development. This well-rounded approach helps kids strengthen fine motor skills, follow directions, express emotions, and build early academic foundations in a fun, encouraging way.

Pre-K or Kinder Prep:
Helping your child transition into school is one of my proudest roles at Wendy's Daycare in Murrieta. I focus on key skills like letter and number recognition, early writing, social interaction, and classroom behaviors that set children up for success in Pre-K and Kindergarten. By the time they leave my care, they’re confident, curious, and ready to take that next big step.

Huge backyard to run and play.

Outdoor Play:
Kids need room to move, and our spacious backyard at Wendy's Daycare in Murrieta offers just that. Outdoor play is essential for physical development, imagination, and social skills. Whether it’s running, climbing, or engaging in group games, children get plenty of active playtime in a safe, supervised outdoor setting every day.

Babysitting Support:

I have a 22-year-old daughter that babysits adding to the family-friendly atmosphere. She’s nurturing, responsible, and wonderful with kids.

Safety Conscience:

Wendy is First Aid, CPR, & BOT (Basic Outdoor Training) certified. Safety is never an afterthought at Wendy's Daycare in Murrieta. I am fully certified in First Aid, CPR, and Basic Outdoor Training, ensuring I am well prepared for emergencies and everyday care. Parents can feel confident knowing their child is in safe, capable hands at all times.

Repeat Families:

Average child is here starting at 2 months until Kindergarten. Building long-term relationships with families is what makes Wendy's Daycare in Murrieta special. Many children begin their journey here as infants and stay until they head off to Kindergarten. That kind of continuity creates deep bonds, trust, and a truly supportive environment where your child is known, loved, and encouraged every step of the way.
